I didn't plan to have this picture posted all over the internet, thanks all the same. It was taken and posted without my permission, and apparently my contract (when did I sign a contract?!) states that they can take and post any pictures of me they want. AND they pointed out that it's my fault for eating the chocolate. It's unfair, is what it is. Shameful.
That's the phrase-chocolate shaming! If they didn't want me to eat the chocolate, then it shouldn't be sitting out there looking all delicious and tempting. And I'd been working up an appetite creating art and being awesome!
I was going to let the whole getting paid go, but if this is the kind of treatment I'm getting, it might be time to revisit the idea. I am not happy.
Hi folks! After the day I've had, I'm looking forward to relaxing with some art. I've not painted before, but everyone has to start somewhere, right?
I can't tell you where I am yet, but I'm hoping you can recognize or figure out my secret location. If you do and you're in the neighborhood, stop by and take a picture with me! I'm really looking forward to making some new friends here along with some awesome art! Hope to see you soon.
It was great to see my cousin in Cullman, but I forgot to schedule a ride back and I don't own a cellphone! I couldn't get in touch with Mission Control either, but luckily the police were there to help! I mean, how many cardboard cutouts get to ride in a police car?!
And no, before anyone makes any jokes, I wasn't arrested. I just got really lucky to have the local PD around and able to give me a ride back home. It's good to be back, and I'm ready to explore Oneonta!
I might look into getting a cellphone though. I'd hate to be stranded and unable to get back home. I mean, if they're not paying me, they could at least manage a cell phone, right? Doesn't have to be fancy...
Hey folks, I just found out that one of my fellow cardboard cutouts of Neil Armstrong made it to the Cullman County Library! How awesome is that? I guess Facebook does actually help you make connections with long lost relatives and friends. I think I'll go check it out!
Still haven't discussed what my paygrade is, if I even have one. Then again, no one has charged me yet for all the gas driving me around. Maybe it's safer not to bring it up.
Hi everyone! My name is Cardboard Neil and I've recently come to Oneonta, Alabama! I wasn't sure what to expect when they packed me up in a box (they didn't tell me where I was going!) but I was super excited to end up at a library. I mean, I was hoping it would at least be somewhere nice, but now I'm getting chauffeured around town, taking pictures with people, AND doing it for a great cause. The only problem so far is no one has discussed payment with me. Do cardboard cutouts get paid? If you know, would you comment? I could use some advice...
I am a humble cardboard cut out of the famous Neil Armstrong, first man on the moon! I recently came to Oneonta, Alabama, and am excited to be exploring the city as I help spread the word about Summer Reading at the Oneonta Public Library! I hope to see you around town!
